Concrete hold heat for hours after you stop heating it. Keeping your shop and house warm longer and holding heat in building. Forced air a few min after shutting off heat it starts to cool and if you open garage door for ext. periods of time it cools everything fast. With In Floor Heat in concrete it holds you temp longer and saving you money. O' did i mention spending time on warm floors really great!

How Underfloor Heating Works
Radiant heat is actually really simple system of tubes that are warming up the surface ( most of the time concrete), but once the concrete gets warm it slowly releases heat up into your room. Usually the loudest thing in system is the thermostat. In Floor Heat is so even and such a wonderful way of heating a shop or house! The tubes usally run lower temp then forced air system and the concrete is usually about 70-85 degrees and always a constant temp always some heat going up to heat room. There is no wild up and down temp swing every few min like forced air system. In Floor Heat can be done in as many zones as you wish having basement one temp, sun room another, kitchen , and bath room all at different temp that you choose. The sky is the limit having a wood stove running the entire system, multi buildings, one heat source central boiler having a safe and a entire system on hot water heat.
